Years ago (before the turn of the century), when I started these labs, I did extensive research within the West Michigan homeschool community. While homeschooling our own two daughters, I had also been teaching weekly classes for GRACE Homeschool Association, but several parents had approached me with the need for once a month dissection labs. They wanted to be able to pick and choose certain labs to fit their needs and curricula. They knew these kinds of a labs needed to be done, but the general consensus was "Not on MY kitchen table!" They didn't want me to give tests, nor issue grades. Many also wanted to be included in the learning process, since they barely remembered dissecting during their own school years (some conveniently, I think!) and wanted to experience how wonderfully
God did indeed make all of Creation.

If you have a student who needs some hands-on biology lab time,
but don’t feel comfortable doing it at home,
these supplemental labs taught from a Creationist point of view
may be for you.
